Nowhere Fast : Brisbane’s Punk and Post-punk Scene 1978-1982

The Photographs of Paul O’Brien: Curated by Robert Forster and John Willsteed.

Nowhere Fast at Woolloongabba Art Gallery features a selection of images from the book Nowhere Fast : Brisbane’s Punk and Post-punk Scene 1978-1982 which will be launched at the gallery on April 5. The book, with essays by Robert Forster and John Willsteed, is published by AndAlso Books.

Giclée prints of a selection of images will be on display and available for order.

The program includes two panel discussions at the gallery:

April 12 - Punk, Politics and The Police (Click here for details and booking)
Followed by live music at The Cave Inn with The Chordites and Scrap Metal
Audio recording of this panel discussion is now online (Youtube Link).

April 26 - Creativity, Culture and DIY (Click here for details and booking)
Followed by live music at It’s Still A Secret with The Cut Snakes, The Dustbin Hoffmans and Lov's é Blur
