This year marks 40 years as an exhibiting artist after my very first solo exhibition at Brisbane’s Metro Arts in 1985 and I have completed over 40 solo exhibitions since then. I’ve stuck at it!
This collection of work draws from artworks produced over the past few years for solo exhibitions, group exhibitions and art prize entries. It also includes works where I explored the still life genre and paintings not shown before that I consider ‘one-offs’ where I have produced immediate personal responses to events but still fit within the collective title for this exhibition.
